Over the past twenty years, Stephen Bellissimo has been dining at the same Chick-fil-A location in Oldsmar, Florida nearly every day. Whenever he goes to the restaurant, Stephen orders the same thing, sits at the same booth, and remains there for a few hours.

Last year, Stephen suffered a fall and had to move in with his son. Since then, his visits to Chick-fil-A have been cut down to once a week. When he walked into the restaurant last Friday, he was stunned to find all of his family and friends there throwing him a surprise party to celebrate his 100th birthday!

“He makes everyone here feel loved and welcomed,” said Brittani Craft, marketing director for Chick-fil-A.

Stephen already had 50% off his orders and free coffee at Chick-fil-A, but the chain wanted to give him something even better for his 100th birthday.

“Mr. Steve, we want to give you Chick-fil-A for the rest of your life. No more 50% off, you’re getting free,” Brittani told Steve, whose face immediately lit up.

“That is the best gift I could ever receive,” Stephen said, clearly delighted.

The restaurant was filled with balloons, and Stephen was surprised with birthday cards and a cake at his favorite booth.

“Now I’m coming every day,” Stephen said. I can’t say that there are many people who would argue with him on that one!
