Tim Conway’s important “Telegram Speech” garnered much attention and is still considered one of the best award acceptance speeches by any actor. Conway started his speech on a somber note. He told everyone that he had received a telegram that morning, “Tim, we know this is your day, but we hope you’ll take a few moments to think of us. Our thoughts are with you always. Love, the gang at the Tarzana Pitch-n-Putt.”

Conway was a genius whose humor was not just stuck to his script. It was beyond anyone’s imagination. He would do impromptu acts, which were hilarious, and would make his audience laugh out, rolling on the ground.

During one of the conversations, Conway’s daughter, Kelly, spoke about what she thought about her dad’s acting passion. She stated that Conway wanted to work on scripts that viewers of all ages could enjoy together without embarrassment.

Conway & Korman’s Emmy acceptance speech was mind-blowing. It was no less than a performance that earned the Emmy Awards in 1978. Everyone in the audience, including Carol Burnett and many other celebrities, laughed at the humorous but classic performance.
