Son Uses Own Money To Buy Parents Gorgeous House After Years Of Struggling To Feed Family

LeJuan James – popular YouTube personality parents, who have been married for over 30 years, worked day and night to take care of LeJuan and his two siblings. They both worked multiple jobs and took overnight shifts to keep food on the table and a roof over their heads. They took a huge hit during the 2007 financial crisis and ended up losing two homes.

It was around this time that LeJuan’s beloved grandmother became sick with brain cancer. Finding her the best treatment and prioritizing her healthcare caused his parents even more financial and emotional hardship.

“You don’t really understand until you’re a little older, then you understand the concept of money and how hard it is to get it and how easy it is to spend it,” LeJuan told E! News. “I remember that at the end of the year in 2016, one of my new year resolutions was to do that for them.”

So, LeJuan decided it was time to pay his parents back for all the sacrifices they’d made. He secretly spent five months working with a realtor to find his parents the perfect home — and they had no idea.

Get Your Flu Shot
This one feels obvious, but flu vaccination rates in the US still leave something to be desired. One reason a lot of people don’t get vaccinated is they think the shot itself will get them sick. According to Dr. Marc Siegel, professor of medicine at NYU Langone, that’s simply not true. As he describes in The Hill, “Flu shots are made using inactivated (killed) flu viruses, so you cannot get the flu from a flu shot.”

In addition, the more people who get the vaccine, the better it is for the entire population, especially people who are unable to get the vaccine due to health issues or age. Dr. Siegel says, “A young baby or elderly person with chronic illness is less likely to get the flu if more people are immunized. ”

Flu shots are safe for children 6 months and up.

This is the most basic tip for keeping yourselves and your loved ones healthy, but it’s also the most effective. The best thing you can do for your kids during flu season is to drill into them the importance of washing their hands before they eat, especially if your kids are fans of finger foods. Kids are exposed to all kinds of bacteria and viruses all day long, and kids are also not exactly known for being … clean.
